On Tuesday and Wednesday, June 10 and 11, the QUANTIFY Consortium will meet at the beautiful location of ICFO – The Institute of Photonic Sciences in Castelldefels (Barcelona, Spain), for the Annual Meeting in person! More exiting news will be shared during the meeting! Stay with us!
TURIN, 25 MAY 2025 – QUANTIFY AT INRiM’s OPEN DAY “DOMENICA IN SCIENZA”
On Sunday, May 25, the QUANTIFY project was featured during INRiM’s Open Day, titled “Domenica in Scienza” — a public science event dedicated to sharing research with the wider community.
The involved INRiM researchers had the opportunity to present the goals and ambitions of QUANTIFY to a broad audience, highlighting its role in the European quantum technologies landscape and its potential to drive innovation and technological transfer.
The event was also an opportunity to explain how a European-funded research project comes to life — from the initial concept and proposal submission to project management and coordination among international partners.
At QUANTIFY, we believe that open dialogue with citizens is a key part of our mission. Making science accessible and fostering a shared culture of innovation is essential to building a future shaped by knowledge and collaboration.
LJUBLJANA, 3-4 FEBRUARY 2025 – “QUANTUM APPLICATION IN INTEGRATED PHOTONICS” WORKSHOP
On February 3–4th, the QUANTIFY project became protagonist within the “Quantum Applications in Integrated Photonics”workshop held in Ljubljana, organized by ePIXfab in collaboration with three other EU-funded integrated photonics projects (CLUSEC, uTP4Q, and ELENA). The QUANTIFY Coordinator opened the workshop by presenting the overarching objectives and progress of the QUANTIFY project.
The workshop ended with a Panel Discussion, in which the Coordinator partecipated alongside Peter Lodhal (Chief Quantum Officer at Sparrow Quantum), Lars Hohmuht (from QuiX QUANTUM), and Jørgen Ellegaard Andersen (Director of Centre for Quantum Mathematics). The goal was to summarise the key insights from the two-day event and discuss the commercial and application-focused developments of quantum technologies in photonics.
This workshop offered an excellent opportunity to meet colleagues from the QUANTIFY Consortium, discuss our ongoing work in person and broadened our network, especially with companies and research entities engaged in III-V active component fabrication.
17 DECEMBER 2024 – FORTH PLENARY MEETING
On December 17th, the QUANTIFY Consortium held its fourth Plenary Meeting via teleconference. In addition to reviewing progress and challenges from the first twelve months, participants presented the first major technological hurdles and proposed strategies to overcome them, ensuring the project remains on track to meet its objectives. The meeting was a great success, strengthening connections among partners and providing valuable updates on the project’s developments. Thank you to everyone for their dedication and insightful contributions. Wishing you all a wonderful holiday season!
